A HISTORY OF ASSIGNMENTS

… As Beyond Compere we were the first to collect original fashions of the fifties and sixties worn by the original models of the time to wear these garments of that era. The event “Play It Again Sam” (for charity) completely sold out, to the point the demand led to the Gallery of Victoria asking for the show be repeated that evening.

… Was approached by the ANZ Bank to collate a complete promotion for The Gondoliers. An Australian Opera production sponsored by the ANZ to travel Australia. We had the first Gondola built to exact Venetian specifications in Australia. The boat was subsequently floated in the moat at The National Gallery Victoria for seven weeks. We organised the complete theme and coordination of the Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide openings of the Opera and the promotion, with the boat appearing in each city.

… Organised thirty years of fashion through the years for Westfield’s thirtieth birthday celebrations.

… Provided the total promotion for Tattersalls National launch of Keno. We organised the design and manufacture of all promotional uniforms, the staff and coaxial cable link up between the various national venues.

… For eleven years handled all promotion, publicity and advertising for the company GFT Australia. Import, wholesalers of the leading European fashion labels, Valentino, Mani by Giorgio Armani, Louis Feraud, Sidi, Dior and Ungaro by Emanuel Ungaro.

… Were the first to show a Fashion Collection on Court One at The National Tennis Centre (as it was) during the Australian Tennis Open for Westfield, Australia.

…. Launched The Fred Hollows Charity in Australia in conjunction with Westfield

… Taken the major International labels, Valentino, Mani by Giorgio Armani, Emanuel Ungaro, Louis Feraud as major fashion parade launches around Australia.

… Coordinated the Irish Couture Collection in Melbourne and repeated the show in Dublin, Ireland.

… Organised major themed functions for charity dinners held at ANZ Towers, Melbourne.

… Were the first to hold a parade for Henry Buck’s in the prestigious 333 Collins Street, Melbourne.

… Launched the 150 years of Fashion Memories Of Melbourne’s Flinders Lane. In conjunction with Grand Hyatt and The Melbourne City Council.

… Choreographed and produced all Louis Feraud Women’s Fashion launched around Australia for ten years. This was in affiliation with The Black and White Committee in Sydney, Perth and Lillian Frank, Melbourne.

… Worked with twelve dancers of the French troupe “Moulin Rouge” and their choreographer to open the Couture Collection of Feraud for the French Chamber Of Commerce.

… Launched the first in Australia, the total Couture Collection of Pancaldi and Pellini to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the Italian Republic on behalf of The Italian Chamber Of Commerce and The Italian Consul General of Australia at The National Gallery of Victoria.

… Launched for the first time in Australia, the complete Autumn Winter Collection of Escada ready to wear and the Couture collection.

… Launched each season for ten years the Mondi Collections in Victoria.

… Presented the Haute Couture Museum collection of Louis Feraud valued at 3.5 million dollars for the French Chamber Of Commerce and Industry for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

… Over the past five years we have launched the official hand over of The Melbourne Cup from its maker, Hardy Brothers to the President of The VRC. Each year has been a completely different theme, as parades, fan fare and festive celebrations.

… Launched the first retail outlet in Victoria for Warner Bros. Westfield Doncaster.

… Produced The Bolle sunglasses and the following month their fashion range to the Australian market.

… Launched the first clothing collection of Disney Fashion Retail to Australia.

… Launched in Victoria, The Fred Hollows fundraising campaign with the promotion Memories Of Melbourne held at Rippon Lee.

… Produced and choreographed the first parade of Christian Lacroix in Australia.

… Launched the Clothing, Footwear and Textile Industry.TCF fashion parades in Melbourne and Sydney for five years.

… Created a major fashion event for The Italian Chamber Of Commerce, Daniella Bizzi, La Perla and Valentino, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Italian Republic together with the promotion of the Italian region Emillia Romagna.

… We launched for Katie’s, their “Katie’s Woman” Collection. A range on a size story

… We organise seasonal fashion parades for the major shopping centres

… Launched for the first time in Australia the Corneliani, ready to wear, made to measure, and the Women’s Collections of Nino Danieli a Dutton’s Prestige Cars to raise all-important monies for Epworth Hospital.

… Launched in Victoria the fund raising promotion at all Westfield Centres Jeans for Genes and Pink Ribbon Day for Breast Cancer

… Launched the fashion component of Very Valentino Collections for the Very Valentino Perfume Australia.

… Launched the Italia Fest at Crown, which included the World Launch of Lamborghini followed by the Autumn Winter Fashion Collections of Italy.

… Organised the Victorian Millinery Association fashion launch for the past two years for Melbourne Fashion Week.

… Organised and produced for The Victorian Racing Club the total fashion component Federation Race Day as a total collection of Fashion’s set into decades from Melbourne’s Federation to the present day. Presented on Course and followed through to all members restaurants on course.

… Organised and produced for the VRC the Ladies Day Oaks Luncheon. A complete collection of fashion through the years seen at Flemington, held at Crown.

… Arranged, coordinated and choreographed the Myer Stores Fashion Parades for Spring Summer 2001, starting with Myer Melbourne Mural Hall, and road casing a smaller version of the parade to all Myer Stores outlets.

… For the past six years travelled to Launceston, Tasmania, arranging Wool Fashion launches for the prestigious Campbell Town Show, “Off the Sheep’s back to the Final Garment.”

… Introduced the concept for and continue to produce the Hats and Hooves Parade for Mornington Race Course

… For three years, themed the AAMI Christmas party held in the Savoy Ballroom, The Grand Hyatt Hotel. Christopher Horne as M C for the Company on both occasions.

… Arranged total wool fashion collections to be shown for the Zegna Wool Awards, raising awareness of Australian Wool sold to International High Fashion Markets.

… Followed through with the complete Promotion with Channel Seven, its development and Westfield spokesperson with the L’Oreal Face That Stops A Nation in conjunction with all events for 2002 and 2003 V R C Melbourne Racing Carnival.

… We developed a regular monthly women’s event in the form of luncheons with parades and guest speakers for The Park Hyatt Melbourne, Hotel Sofitel, Grand Hyatt and the Windsor Hotels.

… Organised and developed the launch for the latest Miele Australia washing machines in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane as complete events with 250 guests for dinner, the venue etc

… Arranged the event for The Australian Dairy Corporation and Australian Dairy Research into one Company, Dairy Australia. This was the Australian announcement to Press and all staff. A total light show of Dairy images cascading into the new logo and later to the huge party to follow.

… Launched Pirelli, Bass Link to International, Australian and Tasmanian Govt Officials. Transforming Station Pier into a huge dining and formal cocktail venue.

…        Held over the past three years the Couture launches in Australia for Italian Designer Renato Balestra at Crown Palladium Ballroom.

…        Launched the season fashion Gala Parade for AMP. Collins Place at Sofitel Hotel over the past years

… Arranged and produced for the first time in Australia a fashion parade of Italy’s Roberto Cavalli, Roberta Scarpa and Borrelli Collections for The Italian Chamber of Commerce at Federation Square.

… Launched the book “Collins– Australia’s Premier Street” a history of Collins Street and the Block Arcade.

…       Launched both in Melbourne and in Brisbane the Mazda Bravo, M P S  and MX 5 with a extravagant fashion show for Peter Jones Events.

…    Held the Melbourne Style luncheon parade for AIME, Australian International Marketing and Exhibitors Conference held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre.

… Over several years organised a fashion and jewellery spectacular for Emma Page in Melbourne, Western Australia and Queensland, to launch their new range of men’s and women’s jewellery and Amway Artistry makeup.

…        Launching of the volunteer’s uniforms for the Melbourne Commonwealth Games, as a fashion parade at the official Press Launch, designers and Official V I P’s. in conjunction with Peter Jones Events.

… Arranging young designers Award fashion showing for the Grand Prix Ball 2006

…         Launched the new Peter Sheppard store in Collins Street.

… Organised the first charity “High Tea” on the premises of the new Peter Sheppard store.

… We continue to assist Lillian Frank with her Royal Children’s Hospital charity lunch, held each year at Crown Casino.

… We worked in conjunction with CUA for their name & uniform change; travelling from Melbourne to Sydney to Brisbane.

… We assist in the creation of “Eat Street” a yearly charity event run by Sofitel Hotel Melbourne.

… Worked with Mionetto Wines Australia in launching their product at special events.

… “Hot Brides” at the Sofitel Hotel– a a quirky parade showcasing Australian Bridal designers; both formal and directional.

… An Art Deco Parade in conjunction with with the National Gallery of Victoria a collection of Art Deco Clothing, including shoes, bags, hats and gloves held at the Sofitel Hotel.

… Arrange the annual Millinery parades to promote the Australian Millinery Association.

… CHC is a sort after host and judge for the Tasmanian Racing Club, “Fashions on the Field” Ladies Day each year.

… Produced parades at shopping centres (Highpoint, Forest Hill Chase, Chadstone etc) over the years to showcase current fashion and promote the centres.

… Promote Royal Melbourne Institute College of Design and Textiles. Young Designers annual Parade

… Produce the Cox Plate Ladies luncheon in conjunction with Moonee Valley Race Course personnel.

… Produce and direct the Honeymoon & Bridal Expo twice a year.

… Provided input and models to promote Australian Lamb; “Lamboutique” at the Sofitel Hotel.

… Choreographed the model component of “Operette” for Linda Britten in conjunction with The Melba Opera Trust for Melbourne Fashion Week
